Audio Bite of a Demo in Taipei

The Democratic Progressive Party (DDP), Taiwan’s opposition party, called for a large demonstration on 13th of January 2013 in the center of Taipei in order to express their displeasure with the policy of the ruling Kuomintang (KMT) under President Ma Ying-jeou. They call for the new cabinet to save the economy, the revision of the pension reform plans and protest against the acquisition of Next Media Group, a consortium.
