Convergence Swatantrata Utsav 2026: A Celebration of Literature, Culture, and National Honors on India’s 80th Independence Day

To mark the historic occasion of India’s 80th Independence Day, the Convergence Research Foundation (CRF), led by Dr. Debdoot Mukherjee, successfully hosted the Convergence Swatantrata Utsav 2026 in Newtown, Kolkata. The festive gathering brought together artists, writers, and prominent societal figures for a diverse program featuring book launches, cultural insights, and formal felicitations.

I was honoured to be invited as a Guest of Honour at the Convergence Swatantrata Utsav 2026. The event was particularly meaningful to me as I was also one of the poets featured in ‚Ink and Minstrels‘, a poetry anthology that was launched on this occasion.
